It is constructed of a two section heavy duty fiberglass radome with nonconducting ABS section connections to eliminate corrosion and help reduce stray RF, ensuring a very clean radiation pattern. Like all Comet antennas, it is pre-tuned, so installation is quick and easy. Just put the sections together, tightening them up, and secure them to a mast with the supplied stainless steel brackets.

Gain & Wave: 6.9 dBi, 146 MHz, 5/8 Wave x 2. Gain & Wave: 9.0 dBi, 446 MHz, 5/8 Wave x 5. Construction: Heavy-Duty Fiberglass (2 Sections). Mounting to Mast Size: 1 1/4 - 2 1/2.
